Summer is all about the grilling burgers. Do you not have good luck in keeping your burgers juicy when you throw them on the grill? This recipe will change that.

One night we were at a friend’s house for dinner and they served burgers. We were hesitant at first but as we took a bite, we were pleasantly surprised at how juicy and moist the burger was; we ended up eating every last bite and asked for seconds.

We begged for their secret and we are so glad they shared because burgers are now in your weekly meal rotation!

Ingredients:Goat Cheese Stuffed Burgers

  • 1 lbs of 80/20 ground beef
  • 4 hamburger buns, choose your favorite
  • 1/2 packet of French onion soup/dip mix
  • 2 tbsp. water
  • 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • steak salt
  • 2 oz goat cheese – quartered
  • Toppings – sliced red onion, ketchup, mustard, lettuce, tomato, alfalfa sprouts, etc. (choose your favorite)

Remove your beef from the refrigerator at least 30 minutes prior to cooking.

Preheat grill or a large skillet over medium heat with a drizzle of olive oil. Place ground beef, soup mix, water, Worcestershire sauce and steak salt into a large prep bowl. Use your hands to mix together, just enough to combine; you don’t want to over work your meat. Divide the beef mixture into quarters, evenly distributing the meat.

Form each section into patties, placing 1/2 oz of goat cheese into each patty. Form the meat around the cheese. Place the patties into the grill or skillet and brown on each side. If you are using a skillet, Place a cover over and allow the burgers to steam for about 5-6 minutes. Remove and allow the burgers to rest on a plate. Place each burger on the bun and top each with your favorite toppings.
