Salted Caramel Crack

Some days you need to treat yourself to something sweet. This recipe will transform just a few pantry staples into a treat that will kick those sweet, salty and chocolaty cravings to the curb. These sweet crackers aren’t just for adults, your kids will love it and have fun helping you make it too!

Ingredients:Salted Caramel Crack

  • 40 saltine crackers
  • 1 cups of caramels, melted
  • 1 cup of milk chocolate chips
  • sea salt

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 425.

Line 1 large baking sheet with foil and spray with cooking spray. Arrange the saltines on the baking sheet in single layer. Pour melted caramel over the crackers, covering them evenly.

Place in the oven and bake for 3 to 5 minutes, until just bubbly, watching them carefully. Remove from the oven and pour the chocolate chips over the crackers. When the chips start to melt, spread them over the crackers with a knife. Sprinkle with sea salt.

Transfer the pan to the freezer for 20 minutes. Once they are completely cold, break them up into pieces. Store in an airtight container.
