Coco Brownies

Is there anything better in life than rich, gooey brownies? We don’t think so either, and our coco brownies are sure to feed that chocolate craving in no time. This classic recipe is super easy, and the brownies come out perfectly soft and deliciously decadent.

Ingredients:Coco Brownies

  • 1 stick butter, cut into 1in pieces
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cup coco powder
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup flour

Directions:

Preheat oven to 325. Grease a 8×8 baking dish; set aside.

Melt butter, set aside to cool slightly. Whisk sugar, cocoa and salt in a medium prep bowl to combine. Pour butter in a steady stream into dry ingredients, whisking constantly to blend. Whisk in vanilla. Add eggs in one at a time, beat to blend after each egg. Finally, add flour and stir until just combined. Pour batter into prepared baking dish.

Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until top begins to crack and a toothpick comes out clean.

Let cool completely in pan. Cut out 16 squares. Plate and finish with a sprinkle of powdered sugar (optional).
