Maple French Toast Sticks

Planning a breakfast or brunch? These maple french toast sticks are a must for your menu. The prep is easy and the oven will do all of the work. If you like to get your children involved with cooking, let them help dip the sticks into the maple coating.

Maple French Toast SticksIngredients:

  • 4 thick slices Challah bread or any egg based bread, cut into thick sticks
  • 4 tbsp. melted butter
  • 4 tbsp. maple syrup
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • a pinch of nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray the baking sheet with non-stick spray. Mix melted butter, maple syrup, cinnamon, sugar, nutmeg and vanilla in medium prep bowl. Dip each bread stick into the mixture and place onto the baking sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown, flipping halfway through.
