Ingredients:Smokehouse Pomegranate Burger with Sweet Potato Fries

Burgers:

Sweet Potato Fries:

  • 1 lb sweet potatoes, peeled (2 medium potatoes)
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp chili powder

Directions:

Remove your beef from the refrigerator at least 30 minutes prior to cooking. Preheat your oven to 350 and preheat your large skillet over medium heat. Starting with the fries: Cut the potatoes lengthwise into thick matchsticks. Place them into a medium bowl and toss with the oil salt, pepper, cinnamon and chili powder. Spray a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange the potatoes in a single layer on the baking sheet and bake until the “fries” are tender and crisp, about 30 minutes.

In a large bowl, place ground beef, 1 tsp PC sauce, and ½ palm full of the seasoning. Use your hands to mix together, just enough to combine; you don’t want to over work your meat. Divide the beef mixture into quarters, evenly distributing the meat. Place the patties into a skillet, brown the burgers on each side. Place a cooling rack on top of a baking sheet and add bacon. Once the burgers have browned on each side, add burgers and place baking sheet in the oven for 15 minutes. Remove and allow the burgers to rest on a plate. To each bun, add about 1oz of shredded cheese to each bottom half. Top with burger then bacon.

Plate with my sweet potato fries and enjoy!
