Smokehouse Pomegranate Meatballs

My super awesome Smokehouse Pomegranate Meatballs are the perfect choice for spring time cookouts! I love to serve these with my Lemon Chive Noodles.

Planning a little party? Turn these sweet and smoky babies into little spicy minis and they will be gone before you know it.

Ingredients:Smokehouse Pomegranate Meatballs

  • 1 lb of 90/10 ground beef
  • 3/4 cup Tastefully Simple Pomegranate Chipotle Sauce, divided
  • 1 tbsp steak season salt – we use Montreal
  • 4 thick slices of cooked bacon, chopped
  • 4 oz shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 cup panko

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 450. To a large prep bowl, add in all the ingredients (use only ¼ cup of the TSPC sauce). Use your hands to mix together, just enough to combine; you don’t want to over work your meat. Using a small ice cream scoop, form the meat mixture into balls. Arrange meatballs on a baking sheet and roast for, 1o minutes. Remove meatballs from oven and brush with the remaining sauce. Place the baking sheet back in the oven and continue to roast for 10 minutes. Plate and enjoy!
