Sprouts and Bacon with Almonds

You can never go wrong with salty bacon and crunchy almonds. Mix these two with freshly steamed brussel sprouts for the perfect flavor combination. We recommend serving this delicious side with our Pan Seared Pork Chops or Herb Crusted Pork Tenderloin.

Ingredients:Sprouts and Bacon with Almonds

  • 1 lbs brussel sprouts, trimmed
  • 3 slices bacon, thick cut
  • 1/3 cup slivered almonds, toasted
  • olive oil
  • black pepper


Preheat oven to 400. Place bacon on a baking sheet and cook until crispy. Move bacon to a paper towel lined plate.

Place a metal colander or a strainer inside a medium sized pot. Add water, leaving enough room so the water won’t touch the strainer. Bring water to a boil and add sprouts to the colander. Cook for 3-5 until the sprouts are tender.

Add steamed sprouts, bacon and almonds to a medium prep bowl. Season with a drizzle of olive oil and black pepper. Toss to combine and transfer to a serving dish.
